Wendy Earle
Born: Winchester, England.
Lives: Llandysul, Wales.
Wendy Earle was born in the south of the UK in 1954 and since 1978 she has worked as a sculptor.
In 1983 she moved to Ceredigion where she still lives with her husband and where they look after thirty acres of woodland, marsh and meadows.
She is now making large sculptures for particular settings in the cwm, keeping in mind the plants and animals that might well be encouraged by her pieces of work.
Wendy Earle's sculpture displays a haptic presence, which produces a hand-made quality that comes from living close to nature.
