Niel Bally has a constant theme running through his work since its beginnings. This is Still-life, but not in the traditional sense or exclusively. His attention has mainly centred on natural surfaces and objects in a special field. He is fascinated by process, abstraction and ambiguity. His work is often allusive leaving much for the viewer to interpret.
